How long can it take me to learn Spanish?

If your goal is to become fluent and confident in any situation, a period of 9 months to a year of continuous practice is recommended. Studies suggest that to reach an advanced level of Spanish (C1 or C2) requires between 600 and 750 hours of study, although this varies depending on the effort and practice opportunities you have.
