This course is specifically designed to apply to Irish Transition Year students. The course lasts 4 weeks and runs from the following dates:
– 28 January to 24 February 2024
– 7 April to 4 May 2024
The programme consists of:
– 80 hours of Spanish – there are 4 hours of instruction daily with at least one hour of focus on the requirements of the Leaving Certificate;
– Full board accommodation with a Spanish family – the accommodation will be within walking distance of the school or will be easily accesible by a short public transport trip;
– There are activities each afternoon during the week and an excursion every Saturday.
The Homestay
We take particular care to ensure that we choose the families that we work with are suitable for each of our students. We requiere those families to provide us with police clearance certificates. We want to make our students stay as safe and as comfortable as possible.
Our experience has shown that a Spanish language immersion course can have a tremendously positive effect on a student’s ability to speak, understand and write Spanish. Through living with a Spanish family and pursuing one intensive Spanish course the student will come away with a deep appreciation of the culture and gastronomy of the country while having a great time.
